A 6-week project sprint for people building high-impact careers in global health

Run jointly by Effective Altruism South Africa, Effective Altruism Nigeria, and Health Progress Hub.

Finish something. Six weeks, one real problem, a mentor who knows the field, and a publicised piece of work with your name on it that anyone can read.

Who can apply	Anyone interested in a high-impact global health career. Students and professionals are welcome. No prior experience needed.
Work alone or in a team	Teams of 1–6 are the default; strong solo projects are also accepted
Mentor	Every project gets one, matched by topic, with weekly check-ins

What you get	You leave having completed a project, and it is shared publicly on our platforms. You receive mentorship, feedback and a certificate.

💭 What is this?

This project sprint is designed to support you complete a project with real-world impact.

You pick a problem, work it for six weeks with a team and the guidance of a mentor, and produce something finished that gets publicised under your name.
You end up with a final piece of work you can add to your track record, which a hiring manager, funder, or programme lead can read, providing evidence to support your career development.
You create resources and tools the whole global health community can use, reference, or expand on, to support impactful work to save and improve lives.
